BENTON'S ISABELLE RUSSELL COMPETES IN THE 3200m AT THE BOSSIER PARISH CHAMPIONSHIPS!
The Bossier Parish Championships were held Thursday afternoon at Benton High School. The host Lady Tigers had five girls to score 18 points or greater to help them to total 192 points and take home the parish title. Isabelle Russell, who won the 1600m (5:21) and 3200m (12:20), was one of those Lady Tigers. She won the meet's MVP Award.
In the boys' division, Parkway sophomore Devon Oliver won the shot put (51-0)and discus (160-5) to lead the Panthers to a parish title. Parkway scored 168 points, 18 more than runner-up Haughton.
