These four teams won their MileSplit LA Boys' Relay Team of the Week poll. Now, they will compete to see who will be MileSplit LA Boys' Relay Team of the Month. The winner will move on to compete for MileSplit LA Relay Team of the Year. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm. Here is a little information on each team.
SCOTLANDVILLE 4x400 - The Hornets finished third in the LHSAA State Indoor Meet with a time of 3:26.04. The team had a season best of 3:24.64 when they beat Catholic at the McNeese Indoor No. II Meet. That time ranks number three in the state.
WESTGATE 4x200 - Just missed the podium at the LHSAA State Indoor Meet with a time of 1:32.02. The tigers finished fourth. The boys from New Iberia had a season best of 1:31.79 at the LSU Last Chance Meet, which was ranked No. 4.
EAST ASCENSION 4x800 - Finished eighth at the LHSAA State Indoor Meet with a time of 8:28.57. Finished just out of the Louisiana Top 10 with their season best of 8:28.21 at the LSU Last Chance Meet.
HOLY CROSS 4x200 - Anchor leg Krosse Johnson overcame a poor exchange to lean past Edna Karr's Camren Hardy at the line. Holy Cross finished with a 1:29.27. Edna Karr was a hundreth of a second behind. Holy Cross' time is No. 1 in the state and No. 25 in the nation.
