Here are the finalist for MileSplit LA Girls' Performer of the Week. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm. The top two vote getters will move on to participate in the MileSplit LA Girls' Athlete of the Month at the end of February.
JAYDAN JACKSON (ZACHARY)- Won the shot put by a foot at the McNeese High School Indoor No. II with a throw of 41-0. She is ranked No. 1 in Louisiana.
JORDYN TAYLOR (DENHAM SPRINGS)-Won the long jump at the McNeese High School Indoor No. II with a jump of 17-6. It was her first win of the season for Taylor, who is ranked No. 1 in the state.
SINCERE WILSON (SCOTLANDVILLE)- The Lady Hornet had a busy day at the McNeese High School Indoor No. II. She picked up a couple of second place finishes in the 55m (7.40) and triple jump (36-2). She also finished fourth in the girls' long jump (17-2). Wilson is ranked in the top ten in Louisiana in all three events.
GRACE RENNHOFF (ST. JOSEPH'S)- Rennhoff picked up her first win of the season last Saturday at the McNeese High School Indoor No. II. The junior Sticker ran 11:42. Rennhoff is ranked No. 5 in Louisiana in the event.
HAZEL HYMEL (ST. SCHOLASTICA)- The senior finished second in the high jump at the McNeese High School Indoor No. II with a jump of 5-2. Hymel is ranked No. 4 in Louisiana in the event.
KENZIE TOUCHET (ST. LOUIS)- The ULL signee ran a personal record 57.63 in a loaded 400m field at the McNeese High School Indoor No. II Meet. It was almost a full second improvement from her time at the Carl Lewis Invitational earlier in the month. Look for this 400m work during the indoor season to pay dividends for Touchet when it comes to the outdoor season and the 300m hurdles.
