VOTE: MileSplit LA's Girls Relay of the Week! (Jan 2 - Jan 8)

SCOTLANDVILLE 4X200 - The Lady Hornets picked up where they left off in 2022, winning the LSU High School Classic with a time of 1:41.04. It is the No. 1 time in Louisiana and the No. 4 time in the US.

ST. JOSEPH'S ACADEMY 4X800 - In the words of Sticker head coach Charlie Daigle, "Woo!" How about a school record for the 4x800 girls in their first meet of the year at the LSU High School Classic. It's the best time in the state and the No. 31 time in the US. That is quite the accomplishment for this storied distance program. It's going to be fun to see how low the Stickers can go in 2023.

GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER 4X200 - Turned in a time of 1:47.40 which was good enough for fourth at the Classic. It is currently the No. 2 time in the state.

SAINT LOUIS CATHOLIC 4X800- The Saints finished fourth with a time of 10:16.20. While the team got on the podium at the same meet a year ago, their time from 2022 (10:32.72) doesn't compare to what the last Saturday's performance.

LAFAYETTE 4X400- Finished fifth at the LSU High School Classic with a time of 4:08.68. It ranks as the No. 3 time in the state.

JOHN CURTIS 4X400- Finished sixth at the LSU High School Classic with a 4:12.13. After the first week of the 2023 indoor season, it ranks as the No. 4 in Louisiana.
