The Louisiana high school season has come to an end and it's time to look back at the rankings of the Top 500 boys in the state of Louisiana. It's no surprise to any fan of the sport that the top ten is dominated by Jesuit, with six runners in the top ten.
Led by the 2022 LHSAA Division I Champion, Jack DesRoches, the Blue Jays not only dominated the rankings, they dominated the LHSAA Division I State Cross Country Championship with a perfect score of 15, while placing all seven runners in the top ten.
Other Blue Jays in the MileSplit LA end of year top ten rankings include Brady Mullen (No. 2, 14:36), Robert Buisson, (No. 3, 14:49), Patrick Dowd (No. 4, 14:52), Leland Crawford (No.5, 15:02) and Michael Vocke (No. 7,15:11).
