We have a talented list for this week's MileSplit LA Girls' Performer of the Week. Vote on your favorite performer. The poll will close on Sunday, October 2nd at noon. 

St. Thomas Aquinas' Ava Mistretta - The freshman picked up the first win of her career at the STA-Southland Steel Invitational in Hammond on Saturday. She ran a 19:04.59. Her personal record for three miles is 18:44, and only one freshman in the state has run the distance faster. 

Houman Christian's Emma Bourg - Beat a loaded field at the Mt. Carmel Cub Run in New Orleans' City Park on Saturday. Bourg's three mile time was 18:14.09, which ranks No. 4 in the state. 

Ascension Episcopal's Sarah Godley - The junior ran a 5K 19:36.50 to win the McNeese Cowboy Stampede on Saturday. Only five Louisiana high school girls have run faster over 5,000m. 

Newman's Maggie Smith - The senior Greenie took a liking to the rolling hills and pine trees in Ruston's Lincoln Parish Park, winning the Wallace Martin Invitational Saturday morning with a time of 20:19.30. Her performance also helped Isidore Newman come away with the team title. 

North Desoto's Ellie Simmons - Her runner-up performance in the girls' race at the inaugural Huntington Raider Cross Country Invitational helped lead her Lady Griffins to the team title. Simmons ran a time of 26:36. 

Ruston's Parker Nations - The sophomore ran a 19:20 5K at the Garmin MileSplit XC Meet to finish No. 19.
