Several of Louisiana's leading marks were set during Week No. 3 of the outdoor season. Five of the state leading marks are on the MileSplit LA's Poll for Boys Performer of the Week. The leaders include Karr's Ra'hji Dennis (100 meters), E.D. White's Chris Gravois (200 meters), John Curtis' King Taylor (400 meters), St. Thomas More's Jonathan Woods (St. Thomas More), and Catholic's Grant Griffin (shot put). Other finalist for MileSplit LA Performer of the Week include Westgate's Mekhi Boutte. Boutte ran a 21.83 in the 200 meters at the LA National Guard Zachary Invitational, Ruston sprinter Brady Beason, Parkway freshmen discus thrower Devon Oliver, Westlake jumper Tristan Goodly, and Captain Shreve distance runner Alex Adcock.
