The Wolfpack had four other runners break the 30 minute mark. Madeline Falcone had the fourth best 6k in Loyola cross country history. She ran a 25:40 and finished 10th. Mary Clara Hutchison 28:28 (27th), Annelise Rickert 28:47 (30th), and Clare Hearns 29:44 (36th) filled out the top five spots for Loyola. Rickert’s effort was a personal best in the 6k.
Jenna Knoblach was 46th in a time of 30:54 and Olivia Taylor ran a 32:21 to finish 51st to round out the women’s team.
The Loyola women were third out of eight teams with 102 points.
For the men, Kieran Harper continued the lead Loyola. He was the top Wolfpack finisher with a time of 30:08 to place 25th. It was the fifth consecutive event that Harper was Loyola’s top competitor.
Other Loyola runners included Galen Westerfield 31:35 (34th), Alex Mayon 32:10 (40th), Alex Hall 32:43 (46th), Kenny Tsao 33:19 (48th), Chris Graugnard 34:30 (55th), and Justin Fecke 37:05 (58th).
Loyola finished sixth out of eight teams with 176 points.
The Wolfpack will return to action on Saturday, October 24th at the University of Mobile Invitational.
