SHREVEPORT – Adam Walton (28:00.2) led the Centenary men’s cross country team with a 54th place finish, while Brittany Wilkens (23:52.5) topped the Ladies with a 52nd place finish. However, it wasn’t enough as both of Centenary’s cross country teams ended their season in 10th place at The Summit League Championship.
Adam Nerio (28:13.2) finished just three places behind Walton in 57th place, while Robert Poole (29:16.7) and Michael Haydel (29.16.7) ended their run in 63rd and 64th place respectively.
A pair of freshmen closed out Centenary’s race day, as Jonathan Martin (30:42.6) finished in 67th place and Chris Patterson (30:48.5) was in 68th place.
On the women’s side, Cara Miccoli (25:23.5) finished behind Wilkens in 65th place, while Jessica Brown (26:13.9), Natalie Holcomb (26:24.7) and Jacquelyn Batson (26:35.4) all finished behind each other in 69th, 70th and 71st place.
The final three runners for the Ladies were Mellynn Baker (27:07.6), Ashley Fallin (28:18.) and Sunny LaGrone (28:33.4). Baker finished in 73rd place, while Fallin and LaGrone closed their morning in 76th and 77th place.
