Jesuit Middle School's Miles Goudelock has the fastest middle school time in Louisiana with at time of 4:56.48. You'd expect nothing less by a runner with the first name of Miles. The only other runner with a name that fits his disposition is Jesuit freshman Race Hughes, who is one of the fastest freshmen in the state.
The runners in the list below make up the young men who will be freshmen in 2026. The are the Class of 2029. While Goudelock leads the list, there are several other runners to keep an eye on for next season. No. 2 on the list is
Christopher Brooksher (4:58) who is the only other runner in Louisiana besides Goudelock who had broken the 5:00 barrier. Brooksher will be another horse in the stable that Catholic distance coach Zach Capello will be able to develop.
Rounding out the top five are Pierson Monroe (5:00) from Alexandria Country Day School, Hudson Cormier
(5:05) from Trafton Academy and Andrew White (5:07) from St. Luke Episcopal.
