Northwestern State alumnus Kenta Bell is competing in his second Olympic
Games after a second-place finish in the triple jump in the USA Olympic Trials.
Bell, a 31-year-old native of Kilgore, Texas, native who graduated from Northwestern with a business degree in 2000, gives Northwestern its first-ever two-time Olympian. He was ninth at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
Northwestern is represented in the Olympic Games for the fifth time and in track and field for the third straight Olympiad.
