NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane University women's track and field team travels to Oxford, Miss., for the Ole Miss Invitational Saturday held at the Ole Miss Track and Field Complex, while sophomore Arielle Minor competes in the heptathlon Thursday and Friday at the LSU Combined Events held at Bernie Moore Stadium.

Competing for the Green Wave will be seniors Andrea Rosemond and Taneekwa Ross and sophomore Jasmine Momoh in the 100-meter dash, and seniors Kyra Lobbins and Rosemond, sophomores Momoh and Olivia Kizzee and freshman Aieshia Brooks in the 200-meter dash. Sophomores Valencia Wilson and Kizzee, as well as Brooks will run the 400m, and senior Shanon Beelendorf, junior Vanessa Kienast and freshman Zandria Debowles will run the 400m hurdles.

   

Freshman Rebecca Coady will compete in the 800 meters and freshman Caitlin Hornbeck and Coady will run the 1,500 meters, while juniors Rachel Bryan and Keriann Langley run the 5,000 meters. Tulane will participate in the 4x100-meter relay with a team that includes four of the following runners: Ross, Rosemond, Momoh, Lobbins and Kizzee. The Wave will also run two 4x400 relay teams that will include Beelendorf, Momoh, Kienast and Wilson on one team, and Brooks, Lobbins, Kizzee and Debowles on the other.

In the field events, junior Katarina Busljeta will throw the hammer and the discus, and freshman Peggy Keplinger will pole vault. Debowles will compete in the high jump, and sophomore Nicolette Taku and freshman Brree Carter will compete in the long jump.
