Q: Who do you look up to as an inspiration to your running?

A: I look up to my parents as my biggest inspiration in running. They both ran at Indiana University and they push me to be the best I can be!


Q: Up to this point in your running career, what has been your most memorable moment?

A: My most memorable moment so far in cross country would be at the state cross country meet my sophomore year. I remember how it was such an unexpected race and I ended up getting runner up.


Q: You and your team are projected to do very well this upcoming year. What do you do in order to stay grounded and focused on achieving your goals?

A: To stay grounded and focus on achieving my goals for this season, I take it step by step. I work as hard as I can so I can help my team out.


Q: If you only had one song to listen to before your race, which would it be?

A: If I had one song to listen to before my race it would probably be "The show goes on."


Q: What is your favorite workout?

A: My favorite workout is doing repeat 1000's on my teammates horse farm, which has rolling hills.


Q: Are you interested in running after high school and if so, what are you looking for a in school in order to determine if it is the right fit for you?

A: Yes, I actually recently committed to run for Southern Illinois University!


Q: What meets are you looking forward to the most this year?

A: I am looking forward to the first cool weather meet! Whatever one that is!


Q: What is your pre-meet or pre-race routine that you like to follow?

A: For my pre-race routine I like to stretch, warm-up, then do drills to get ready for the race.


Q: How many days a week do you run?

A: I run 7 days a week!


Q: And lastly, what food do you crave most after a hard workout or a race?

A: The food I crave most after a race or work out would probably be watermelon (especially when it's hot!!).
