Dear Coach,
On Saturday October 27, City Park hosts the Voodoo Music Festival. Because of this event, City Park authorities have notified us that we will not be allowed access to the City Park Cross Country Course on the morning of October 27. In light of this unforeseen circumstance, we have been forced to move the Brother Martin Invitational to Thursday, October 25 at the City Park Cross Country course. I realize that this may inconvenience some teams already entered or planning to attend, and we apologize for any inconveniences this causes you and your team. Hopefully, you can join us on October 25.
We will still offer four levels of competition: Girls & Boys Junior High (grades 7, 8, & 9) and Girls & Boys Varsity. The awards ceremony will take place at the conclusion of the Boys Varsity Race. Instead of holding an Open Division Race, we will allow unlimited entries in all four races.

4:00 pm Girls Junior High (2.0 Miles)
4:30 pm Boys Junior High (2.0 Miles)
5:00 pm Girls Varsity (3.0 Miles)
5:30 pm Boys Varsity (3.0 Miles)
6:00 pm Awards Presentation
Each school will be allowed to enter as many runners as they choose in all races. Only five runners will count for team honors. To compete for team honors you must have five runners finish the race. You may run less runners if you do not wish to compete for team honors.
In an effort to accommodate the elementary schools, we will host the Elementary Division of the Brother Martin Invitational on Brother Martin’s campus Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 8:30 am. We hope you can join us for the first cross country race on our school’s grounds!
