ULL Cross Country Competes at La. Tech Invitational

  RUSTON, La.-Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the Louisiana Tech Invitational on Saturday.  Casey Brown was the top finisher of the day for the Cajuns. Brown, who had a time of 15:30, placed third out of 49 competitors. This marked Brown’s second third place finish this season. Jasmine Collins finished seventh with a time of 15:43, while Callie Picou placed 12th overall with a time of 16:12. Paula Parker rounded out the top 15 with a time of 16:16. In men’s action, Joby Gisclair was the top Cajuns finisher, placing 15th with his time of 22:19. Reese Lee finished 18th with a time of 22:28, and Goeffrey Goudeau’s time of 23:14 was good enough to place him 25th overall. Forty-eight runners competed in the men’s competition. The Cajuns will compete in the LSU Cross Country Festival in Baton Rouge on Saturday, Sept. 22. The meet begins at 8:30 a.m.
