LAFAYETTE- Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns men’s track and field team scored two points in Day 1 of the 2007 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Joby Gisclair finished seventh in the men’s 10,000 meter run scoring two points for the Cajuns. Gisclair recorded a time of 33:31.07. Also in the 10,000 meter run, South Alabama’s Vincent Rono placed first with a time of 28:57.51, breaking the previous Sun Belt Championship record, which he set himself. Chance Perkins scored 2,255 points in the first five events of the men’s decathlon. Suzanne Boudreaux and Callie Picou both competed in the women’s 10,000 meter run.
