How Many Years have you been running?
6 years

What got you started on running?
I got interested in running b/c in elementary we would have to run laps around the playground as punishment for gettin in trouble in class and i fell inlove with it.

What's your typical week of mileage/ training consist of?
summer running is about 60-65 and season is bout 55 -60

Thoughts on your Coach
I love my coach to death of course we have had our moments everybody does when you are around them everyday, but i have never once had any doubt about the training he has gave me and i think he has come a long way with his knowledge of the sport since he started 6 yrs ago. but we get a long great 98 % of the time and i believe in him and he believes in me and i think thats what makes us have such great success

Favorite/ most memorable race you have run this year/and in your career?
----this year i would have to say chill pepper cuz i beat tater lol, and career i would have to say 8th grade year 2 mile state me and tater took down frank mathews of weston who was a senior and was our biggest rival

Are you looking forward/ getting excited about the state meet?
i am excited for state, team wise cuz i want some more hardware, but i am really focusing on footlocker

Does it dissapoint you soemtimes that you can't run in the higher classifications where more of your competetion exists, outside your teammate Kasey of course.
-----heck yea i would love to run in the race with breaux,pierce and richie at state b/c i know we would run some amazing times

Who do you consider your biggest rival in state both individually and as a team?
-------umm i would have to say myself being one as far as mentally, and then breaux and kasey and every team ranked ahead of his in the polls although they really dont mean nothing

How much success do you credit to having someone (Kasey) right there pushing and bringing yall to some of the fastest times this state has seen in a long time.
aww man i dont think i would be what i am w/o kasey he have always been pushing each other and he deserves just as much credit, we always push each other and give each other moral support when one is in a slump and besides he is my boy.

Do you think it will be hard on Kasey when you are no longer there to help him next year?
umm at first i think he might be a little off but kasey is an amazing athlete and has one of the greatest mind sets i have ever seen and he will do just fine.

What is/ were your goals for this season/ and do you feel you have met them/will meet them?
-----my goal is run in the 14 40's and to go to footlocker nationals

Any superstitions? race day rituals?
------i always drink straight black coffee the night before a race

What do you do when you are not running/hobbies etc?
------ umm i like to hang out with friends/ g/f, hunting and fishing, and just having a good time

Are you going to continue running in college? Which colleges are you considering?
-----yes i do plan on running in college, right now my list is ul-l,ulm, tech, sfa, northwestern

Who is someone you look to as a role model (running and non)?
----i really dont have one i just believe in myself, but as far as mentally i look at pre's mind set about running

If you could tell a young and upcoming runner one thing that helped you reach where you are right now what would it be?
----running is what you make of it just as life is, the more effort you put into it to be successfull the more success you will have

How's it feel to have the 3rd fastest time in Louisiana at the moment?
----completely horrible i want to be #1 plan and simple Hank has run 14:49 for 3 miles since this interview and is now ranked #1 in LA for that event)

When you show up to a meet do you feel others are intimidated and how do you keep yourself humble with the amount of success you have enjoyed?
---i think ppl may feel intimidated but i just dont let it give me the big head and i just think to myself everybody is looking to gun you down so you cant slack off

Do you visit LARunning often? any suggestions? ha sorry for my own knowledge.
---aww heck yea man i look at it everyday i love interacting with fellow runners from around the state
