Loyola cross country at the Memphis Twilight Classic

Memphis, Tenn.- Loyola men's and women's cross country teams participated at the Memphis Twilight Classic on Saturday night.


On the men's side, Matt Cagigal was Loyola's top finisher with a time of 26:16.97 in the eight kilometer race. He finished in 51st place. Richard Bouckaert had a time of 26:29.82 for 57th place. Other participants for the Wolfpack included Tyler Kaufman, 32.40.92 (183rd place), Zach Custer 32:53.25 (186th place), and Chris Tyree 35:22.55 (197th place). The Loyola men's team placed 19th out of 24 teams.


For the women, Mary Erin Imwalle led the Wolfpack with a time of 19:57.46. She completed the five kilometer course in 66th position. Other Loyola runners included Emily Reed finished in 168th place with a time of 24:47.14 and Rebecca Reed with a time of 24:47.33 for 169th place. The Loyola women did not have a team score.
