Holy Cross/Dominican Invitational
August 1, 2015
Dear Cross Country Coach:
We would like to invite you to participate in this years Holy Cross/Dominican Cross Country Invitational. This
year the meet will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015, in City Park. We would like to thank NOTC for
sponsoring the course and Varsity Sports for providing Top 10 Finisher t-shirts.
There will be seven races: Non-scoring open elementary, girls and boys elementary invite, girls and boys junior
high, girls and boys open junior varsity (non-scoring) and girls and boys varsity. Each school will be allowed to
enter unlimited numbers, except in the varsity and the elementary invite races where the limit is 15 runners.
Only five runners will count for team honors. To compete for team honors, the school must have five runners
finish the race. The Top 10 finishers in each scored race will be presented with invitational t-shirts.

7:00 AM Registration and packet pick-up
7:30 AM Girls Elementary (15 runners max NO 8th Graders) 1.5 miles
8:00 AM Boys Elementary (15 runners max NO 8th Graders) 1.5 miles
8:30 AM Open Elementary (unlimited entry) 1.5 miles
9:00AM ~ Elementary Awards ~
9:00 AM Girls Varsity (15 runners max) 3 miles
9:35 AM Boys Varsity (15 runners max) 3 miles
10:05 AM Boys & Girls Junior High (8-9 grades only) 2 miles
10:35 AM Boys & Girls JV Open (unlimited entry) 2 miles
11:00 AM Awards
Fees
An entry fee of $50.00 per school will be charged to help defray expenses. Please make your check payable to
Dominican High School. Pre-registration is required. Please read the enclosed page for further
instructions.
Directions
Enter City Park from Marconi Drive and turn right onto Harrison Avenue. The staging area
(registration/scoring) is across from Harrison Ave. and Diagonal Rd. Parking is allowed only on Diagonal Rd.
or Harrison Ave. on the west side of Diagonal Rd. (Please do not park on Harrison Ave. on the east side of
Diagonal Rd.)
