SAMUEL HODSON (FAR RIGHT) COMPETES IN THE 2022 LHSAA CLASS 5A STATE OUTDOOR 800m!
It wasn't easy for Central Lafourche's Samuel Hodson, but his supporters pulled out a tight battle over Catholic's Henry Mensman for MileSplit LA's March Athlete of the Month. Hodson had 45% of the vote and beat out Mensman by 2%.
Neville freshman Lennon Sirmon 's supporters got off to a big start in the MileSplit LA Girl's March Athlete of the Month Poll. Rayville's Lalaina Wood came on strong at the end, but it was too little, too late. Sirmon had 44% of the vote compared to Wood's 36%.
The Destrehan boys' 4x100 beat out Parkview's 4x800 for MileSplit LA Boys' Relay Team of the Month. Destrehan had 37% of the votes and beat out Parkview by 5%.
Northside girls' 4x400 won the MileSplit Girls' March Relay Team of the Month. The Lady Vikings had 50% of the vote, edging out the Scotlandville 4x400 by 9%.
