VOTE: Top Returning Short Sprinters

Janie O'Connor after taking home 4 state championships (100, 200, 400, and 4x200) last spring

With the outdoor season around the corner, we want to hear who you think the best-returning sprinters in the state of Louisana are!  While top 100m sprinters in 5A for both the boys and girls are returning in 2017 in Sethan Hollier and Janie O'Connor, many great sprinters will look to challenge these two this spring.

On the boy's side, Haughton standout Josh Lister will look to compete for a state title after being disqualified for a false start in 2016.  Lister not only had the fastest time in the state in 2016 with a time of 10.43, but he has also gone on to beat Hollier at the LSU High School Classic and the Indoor State Championships this winter.

While O'Connor swept the state last year winning four state titles, Kyah Loyd has put some serious pressure on the returning champ.  She beat out O'Connor for the first times ever this winter at both the state championships as well as at the LSU High School Classic.
