Dear Coach,
For many years, ASH hosted one of the premiere cross country meets in southwest Louisiana. We are pleased to bring back this event to our beautiful campus in Grand Coteau. We want to invite your team to the Academy of the Sacred Heart Invitational Cross Country Meet on Saturday, September 25, 2010.
There will be 5 races that morning for runners of all school ages.
Event Schedule:
7:45-8:15 Registration
8:30 Jr. High Girls (2 miles)
9:00 Jr. High Boys (2 miles)
9:30 Varsity Girls (3 miles)
10:00 Varsity Boys (3 miles)
10:30 JV Boys/Girls (3 miles)
11:15 Awards Presentation
Seven entries in the varsity division are allowed but only 5 will be scored. Unlimited entries in the junior varsity races will be accepted. A team champion and runner-up trophies will be awarded in each category. In addition, the top 5 runners in the junior high races and the top 10 runners in the varsity races will be awarded t-shirts.
Entry fees are 35.00 per team or 5.00 per runner, if fewer than 7 runners are entered. Please make checks payable to the Academy of the Sacred Heart. Entry fees should be received by Friday, September 17. Your varsity roster should be e-mailed to Julie Sellers at jsellers@sshcoteau.org no later than the Tuesday (noon) prior to the meet. *If necessary, changes to your roster may be made when you register the morning of the races.
