District 10-AAAAA Track and Field Meet

GATES FOR TEAM ENTRY WILL OPEN AT 2:30 PM

Registration closes at 7:00 PM on Monday April 20, 2026

The Entry fee is $275.00 per school ( Make checks payable to East Jefferson High School)

Crescent City Timing CORP. is in charge of all FAT timing.

Implement check in and packet pick up is at 3:00 PM, You may pay entry fee at this time

Awards for team champion and runner up, as well as medals for top 3 finishers in each event.

DISTRICT MEET ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

All team areas will be on the VISITORS side of the stadium.NOT ON THE FIELD

Fans will also be on the Visitors side of the stadium.

ADMISSION is $10.00 for ADULTS and $5.00 for STUDENTS and CHILDREN,

GATE ENTRY WILL OPEN AT 3:00 PM

Tickets can be purchased online or with a credit card at the gate on GOFANS

ONLY UNIFORMED TEAM members will be admitted at the team entry gate with a Coach and a JEFFERSON PARISH ATTESTATION FORM, Coaches need a wrist band which they will get with their LHSCA coaching card.

Since this is a District Championship sanctioned by the LHSAA,all rules by the LHSAA in meet proceedure will be followed including: Only athletes will be allowed on the field when their events are called and must check in with the clerk of course in a timely manner. NO ELECTRONIC devices are allowed on the field or anywhere in the competition area, When an athlete enters the field for competition they may only bring their spikes. No bags or spike bags will be allowed on the field

Athletes may forfeit their right to compete if they refuse to follow meet proceedures. Once an athlete is finished their events they must leave the field and proceed back to their team area. Coaches are responsible to keep their athletes off the field when they are not in competition. Spikes only are allowed on the field. NO BAGS OF ANY KIND AND NO ELETRONICS ALLOWED ON THE FIELD

Each District School will be assigned a field event,and relay exchange zone, which is for boys and girls

THERE ARE NO ADDS FOR THIS MEET

Field events: Each participant gets 3 throws or 3 jumps in the Prelims

The top 7 go to the finals and are reseeded 1-7 in reverse order with the best mark going last. The 7 finalists get 3 more throws in the finals, All Prelim throws or jumps count in the final scoring.

Only the top 6 receive points 10,8,6,4,2,1 first to sixth

2026 DISTRICT 10-AAAAA MEET SCHEDULE:

5:30-5:45.... Track is cleared of all athletes so that running may start.

Events WILL NOT START UNTIL ALL FIELD EVENTS ARE CONCLUDED.

ONCE THE TRACK IS CLEARED ALL WARMUPS MUST BE CONCLUDED.

DO NOT TAKE HURDLES OFF THE TRACK AND PUT THEM ON THE FIELD

WE will be on a rolling schedule, so have your athletes listen

for the calls first, second and final call. Girls events will

proceed the boys events

Only athletes in an upcoming event may be checked to enter.

Athletes may Only have their spikes when entering the field

The top 4 finishers, and top 4 relay teams qualify for the REGION III-5A

meet next week at Hahnville. If your relay teams qualify you must leave the names of your team and alternates with Meet Director before you leave

Remember if your athletes are a fourth-place finisher and cannot complete in the Regional Meet, it is your responsibility to notify the fifth-place finishers coach.

At the end of the meet the District 10-AAAAA Champions and Runner-up trophies will be presented as well as the boys and girls MVP awards.

Do not forget to get your team envelopes with you athlete's medals before you leave

Good luck to everyone, and with a little cooperation, we can get through the meet and make it enjoyable for our athletes so we can send our best to the Regional Meet the following week at Hahnville
