District 10-AAAAA Track and Field Meet.

Registration closes at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025

The entry fee is $250.00 per school. Make checks payable to East Jefferson Track and Field

Crescent City Timing is in charge of the FAT timing.

Implement check in  and packet pick up at 3:00 PM

Awards for team champions and runner up as well as individual medals for the top 3 places

DISTRICT MEET ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Team Areas will be on the VISITORS side of the stadium NOT ON THE FIELD

FANS will be on the VISITORS side of the stadium. 

ADMISSION is $8.00 for ADULTS and $4.00 for students and chi

ldren. Tickets must be purchased at GOFANS>CO

Only Uniformed team members will be admitted at the team entry gate with a COACH and the Jefferson Parish team Attestation form .

Since this is a District Championship sanctioned by the LHSAA, all rules by the LHSAA in meet procedure will be followed including: Only athletes will be allowed on the field when their events are called and must check in with the clerk in a timely manner.

Athletes may forfeit their right to compete by being disqualified to run for con complying with the meet rules and setting up camp on the fiel

d or non competing athletes loiter on the field. Coaches will be responsible for keeping their teams off the field.

Each District School will assigned a field event and relay exchange zone. If your school

is assigned an event it is for both boys and girls events.

THERE ARE NO ADDS FOR THIS MEET

Field events and horizontal jumps. Each participant gets

3 jumps or throws in the Prelims . The top 7 go to the finals and are reseeded  1-7 in reverse order. The top 7 get 3 final throws and are scored 1-6. Prelim throws or jumps carry over to the finals.

Event scoring is 10-8-6-4-2-1 for top 6 places

5:30-5:45......Track is cleared of all athletes so running events can start. EVENTS WILL NOT START IF ATHLETES ARE OFF THE FIELD.  ALL WARM UPS ON FIELD ARE CONCLUDED. DO NOT TAKE HU

RDLES OFF THE TRACK AND PUT ON THE FIELD AT ANYTIME YOU MAY WARM UP ON THE TRACK ONLY

WE WILL BE ON A ROLLING TIME SCHEDULE. HAVE YOUR ATHLETES LISTEN TO THE CALLS. Girls Events WILL PROCEED THE BOYS EVENT

The top 4 finishers and relay teams qualify  for the Region III meet in Hahnville next week. If your relay team qualifies, must submit relay cards with alternates before you leav

e the meet.  Remember if your athlete is a fourth place finisher and cannot compete it is your responsibility to notify the fifth place finisher's coach

At the end of the meet the District 10-AAAAA Championship and Runner -Up trophie

s will be presented.

The Boys and Girls MVP awards will be presented

Coaches make sure you get your team medals before you leave the meet
