Meet Information
Dear Cross Country Coach,
St. Thomas Aquinas would like to invite you to their 15th Annual STA-Bruce OKrepki Memorial Cross Country Invitational Meet on Saturday, October 12, 2024. This year's meet will once again be held at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Hammond.
Team awards will be given to the team champion and runner-up. In all races the top (15) will receive awards. Individual awards will be given to the athletes at the end of the chute for all races. Team awards to the Champion and Runner-up teams will be given out fifteen minutes after each race near the scorers table area to the Coach. We will be running a 3 mile races in all divisions.
Each school is only allowed to enter (10) runners in the Varsity Division, while the remaining runners can run in the JV Division. This year we will be using the Hy-tek computerized scoring system, so, each team must submit a list of all possible competitors by Thursday, October 10, 2024. All school entries must be done on la.milesplit.com. No race day registration will be allowed!!!!! Entries will not be accepted by fax, phone or stamped mail!!!!! Please go on and update your rosters ASAP, all of the HS rosters should be updated with your LHSAA eligible athletes already, but you are still responsible for submitting them on la.milesplit.com!
There is a $75.00 charge per school (boys and girls), to help defray the cost of the awards. We look forward to having you with us, once again we feel this years meet will be very competitive. Entry fee can be brought the day of the meet. Checks should be made out to St. Thomas Aquinas HS for the High School teams, while the MS/JH teams must make their check out to Trafton Academy Athletics, please do not mail the check, please bring your schools check on the day of the meet.

We will be set-up in the front area at STA for this meet, we have been asked by our administration that you please use the restrooms in the back only. Please keep your Parents and Athletes out of the school, the school is off limits when we have Cross Country meets. Also, we will not allow cars to park on the grass on Voss Drive, this will be roped off, be prepared to park in the back and walk to the starting line areas.
