Thank you for joining us for the LHSAA D2-R2 cross country meet. We are excited to host everyone this year. 

Meet Info
The meet will be held at South Lafourche High School, 16911 E Main St, Cut Off, LA 70345. The girls race will start at 3:30pm. Followed by the boys race. Seven athletes can compete in the race. There will be no JV race. Please get your buses to drop your team off near the stadium and park in our student parking lot on the South side of campus (large rock parking lot). Registration will close on Tuesday 11/05/24. The course will be over various surfaces including blacktop, cement, grass, ect. 
Awards
Awards will be given to the top two teams of each division. Medals will be given to the top 25 individuals of each division. 
Payment
Bring checks to the race. We will have a flat rate for the meet of $50 per registered gender. If you have any girls it will be $50 and if you have any boys, it will be $50. So you are either paying $50 or $100. If paying with a check, make checks payable to South Lafourche High School.

Entry Requirements

 Only LHSAA registered eligible athletes are allowed to compete in this Meet. No ineligible or unattached athletes will be allowed to compete in any race.

Race Entries: 

Be advised that the entries you submit for the Regional Meet are your final entries and cannot be changed between the Regional Meet and the State Meet. A maximum of (12) athletes per team may be entered in the Meet; any (7) of those (12) athletes may compete in the Meet; but no more than (7) athletes per team are allowed to compete in any scored race. No changes to your entries can be made after the entry deadline.

Race Packets: 

We will have a table setup for you to check in, drop off your entry fee, and pick up your race packet. Race packets will be organized by gender and school and will include your race bib numbers and starting box assignment. Be prepared to declare your top-7 entries at this time.

Timing & Scoring: 

Timing and scoring will be provided by Chipped Timing. All runners will be issued a bib number which must be pinned to the front of his/her shirt. All finishers must cross over the finish line scoring mat in order to be scored. Runners that do not cross the scoring mat with his/her bib intact will not be scored. A team must have a minimum of five finishers in order to receive a team score. All runners in all races must wear school uniforms with the school name clearly shown.

Qualifiers for the State Meet: 

Only the top-8 teams from each race of this Meet will advance to the State Meet. All individuals finishing in the top-25 from each race will advance to the State Meet regardless of whether or not they are on one of the top-8 teams.
