Meet Information

St. Joseph's Academy is hosting its 41st annual St. Joseph's Academy Cross Country Invitational Meet on Saturday, September 30, at Highland Road Park in Baton Rouge.

Event Schedule:

08:00 a.m. - 3M Girls Varsity (limited to 7-entries)

08:30 a.m. - 3M Boys Varsity (limited to 7-entries)

09:00 a.m. - 3M Girls Jr. Varsity (only 7-scored entries, unlimited runners)

09:30 a.m. - 3M Boys Jr. Varsity (only 7-scored entries, unlimited runners)

10:10 a.m. - Presentation of Awards

Entry Requirements:  Registration will open at 8:00 a.m., Monday, August 7. Registration will close at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 26. Advance registration is required for the two scored 3M Varsity races and the two scored 3M Jr. Varsity races.

ALL schools must register their athletes in advance and online through Athletic.net, www.Athletic.net.

Registration by phone, fax, mail, or email will not be accepted. Race day registration will not be permitted. No entries will be accepted after the entry deadline. No changes can be made on the day of the Meet.

Entries in the Girls Varsity and Boys Varsity races are limited to a maximum of seven (7) per team. Entries in the Girls Jr. Varsity and Boys Jr. Varsity races are also limited to a maximum of seven (7) per team. However, any additional eligible JV runners may run in the JV race without a bib but will not be officially timed or scored.



Only LHSAA registered eligible athletes are allowed to compete in this Meet. No club teams, ineligible high school athletes or unattached athletes will be allowed to compete in any race. Athletes will not be allowed to compete in more than one race.



Entry Fee:  A maximum entry fee of $100.00 per school (or $75.00 per gender) is required. If you do not have enough athletes to field a full team (less than five), your entry fee will be $15.00 per athlete. Make your check payable to St. Joseph's Academy. Please bring your check with you on Meet day. Please do NOT mail it in advance or try to pay online.

Awards:  Awards will be presented to the top two teams in the Varsity and Jr. Varsity races. Special gifts presented by New Balance will be awarded to the top two runners in the four scored races. T-shirts presented by Varsity Sports will be awarded to the top-20 finishers in the Varsity races and the top-15 finishers in the Jr. Varsity races.
