LHSAA 2A - District 7 2023

Dear Coaches,
The 7-AA District Championships will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Christ Episcopal Track and Field Complex in Covington, Louisiana . This facility is located at the Madisonville/Covington Exit off of Interstate 12 at 80 Christwood Blvd. Covington, LA 70433. There are no stands, bring your tents and chairs and tarps to put down on the ground! The Field Events will begin at 3:00 P.M. and the Running Events will begin at 6:15 P.M.. The mandatory scratch meeting will be held at 2:30 P.M., changes will not be allowed after the scratch meeting. Athletes are allowed to participate in any four events. We will be having a both the 8-B and 10-2A District Championships at the same time.
All entries must be entered on-line at la.milesplit.com by Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 9:00 am. Please go on-line to enter your roster and set-up your schools account ASAP. Remember Coaches, the cost of the awards($450) and timing group($800), a total of $1250, divide the total cost by the number of schools competing in the District Meet will be $175.00 for each school, please make checks payable to: St. Thomas Aquinas Athletics.
Awards will be given to the Champion and Runner-up, track MVP, field MVP and an overall MVP in the boys and girls divisions. Individual medals will be given to the top (3) finishers in each event. Medals can be picked-up by the Coaches at the end of the meet.

Admission will be $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for school age children. Concessions will be available at CES.
The following teams will be participating in the District meet: 10-2A(St. Thomas Aquinas, Springfield , French Settlement, Pope John Paul, Independence, Northlake Christian and St. Helena).
