Greg Caro may be in the midst of a dream season, but the veteran Sacred Heart coach knows what success looks like. Anyone who's driven through uptown New Orleans has seen the beaming faces smiling from the "3A State Cross Country Champions" banner on Sacred Heart's gates. Caro has managed to lead the Cardinals to a state victory for seven of the past eight years on the trails in Natchitoches, but Sacred Heart has never won a state outdoor track title.
