With the largest pre-state invitational in the books (Catholic High Invite), we now sit on the eve of one of the quickest races, the Walker High Shootout. As teams prepare to travel to Walker, Louisiana in pursuit of the record books, fast times and PR's loom. However, with these fast times which are bound to come, a few questions come to mind... Will the course be accurate this year? Will our rankings at Louisiana Milesplit once again be assaulted and scrambled? Will Zach Albright continue to remain undefeated amongst Louisiana runners in 2013, despite his near defeat by Bryce Robinson at Catholic? Will Mandeville make another bid for #1 over Menard? These questions and many more will be answered following the weekend, but for now we will tell you this.... it looks to be a fast race, and an accurate one out at Walker - the most GPS'ed and wheeled course in all of Louisiana.
According to our results, stats, and with the teams that are expected to attend - We, at Louisiana Running have gone ahead and scored the meet as if everyone ran their fastest time to date.
