St. Michael High School is hosting its 14th Bayou Boogie Classic on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at Highland Rd. Park in Baton Rouge, LA.
There will be T-shirts, sports drinks, water, and jambalaya for sale along with prizes thrown by our athletes. The competition is always among the best in the state. There are special instructions on parking so PLEASE pay attention to restricted areas as the Sheriffs office is towing at will.
Only advanced registrations will be accepted. No race day registration is allowed. Coaches will be required to send their rosters to our race director by Sept. 4. Checks should also be mailed to the address below by Sept.4. List your school name, race category, and then list each runners last name, first name in alphabetical order. See registration example on the back of this page.
Only LHSAA eligible athletes are allowed to race. Unlimited entries in each division are allowed so no need to designate your top seven runners. No A and B teams. All registration is done by e-mail (bayouboogie.smhs@gmail.com). No fax, phone calls or stamped mail registrations are allowed.
There will be trophies for the top three teams in all divisions. The 6 divisions include: Varsity boy/girl, Junior Varsity boy/girl (9th and up), Jr. High (middle school boy/girl (5th-8th). The top ten finishers in each division will receive medals; the top 15 will receive t-shirts.
