Girls Team

1) (0) Dominican - The Domincan 4 once again dominated, this time over the hilly Christian Brothers Invite in Loranger, Louisiana.

With many of the top teams present, Dominican's "4" each had a top ten showing with their fifth rounding out their score in 18th place -

good enough for a 15 pt. win over #4 Fontainebleau.

2) (0) St. Joseph Academy (BR) - SJA won the  "rutty" Rummel/Chapelle course in City Park unchalleneged with a 19pt score.

3) (0) Parkway - Parkway, led by the nationally recognized runner Allison Ringle, won the LSU XC festival title (21:13avg) beating #4 Ruston.

4) (+7) Ruston - The Bearkats looked really strong at LSU - opening their XC season with a  21:39 over a rumored LONG 5K,

narrowly missing #3 Parkway by 3 pts.

4) (0) Fontainebleau - Good showing at Christian brothers, losing by only 15 pts to Dominican.  They are  tied at 4th with Ruston this week with a very

close team average.

6) (-1) Mount Carmel - Finsihing ahead of this week's #8 at Christian Brothers - Mt. Carmel conitnues to improve this week but drops to to #6 after

Ruston's opening and rise.

7) (+4) Holy Savior Menard - Not sure if they ran this weekend, and it appears we left them off the poll last week, but riding the strength of thie

Round Table Run Menard rises or due to our oversight remains at #7.

8) (+3) St. Scholastica - Led by a crew of underclassmen, SSA continues to improve finding it's way back into the top at #8 this week.

9) (-3) St Thomas More - Missing Sacred Heart GC results for this week, but they ride the results of their home meet with a 21:35 average

to remain at #9.

10) (-1) McGehee - Off Week.  21:54 average last week in Audobon.

Elite 5 for this week:

Allison Ringle (Parkway)- 19:12 5K at LSU

Gabrielle Jennings (First Baptist)- 18:44 3 mile at Christian Bros

Nicole Durham (Fontainebleau) - 19:02 3 mile at Christian Bros

Olivia Murphy (MAndeville)- 19:17 3 miles at Christian Bros

Carly Boyce (SSA)- 19:38 3mi at Christian Bros

Boys Team

1) (0) St Pauls - The "jogger-nauts" of SPS remain undefeated. They had a very close call at their home meet this weekend narrowly defeating

Episcopal  by 4 points.  St. Paul's returned Don Lipani this week, but he is yet to return to full form.

2) (+1) Episcopal- Lost by only 4 pts to SPS.  With a good race by their #1 and #5 - EHS closes the gap and puts the pressure on SPS.  It will continue to be a

heated battle amongst the top 3 teams, and perhaps #4 in Catholic if they peak late season like they are known to do.

2) (0) West Monroe - West Monroe was off this weekend, and with Episcopal's performance at Christian Brothers it is too close to call this weekend.  We tie

them at #2 for the week.

4) (0) Catholic High - Off Week remain at #4.

5) (0) Parkway- Won LSU.

6) (0) Brother Martin- Off Week.  Such a solid 7 they are 6.

7) (0) Jesuit - Gaining momentum, but still hurting from the absenses of Fitzgerald, S. Fitzpatrick, and Pettus.

8) (+3) Walker -  5 runners at 17:50 or better at Christian Brothers--a course that looks to be a bit slower than Highland

9) (0) St. Thomas More - Still riding their 17:12 team average from the Sargent Memorial Meet.  No meet on record for this week?

9) (0) John Curtis - Runners #2-4 all ran about the same relative to their Highland performances from last week. 5th runner stepped up, only running 4 seconds

slower than he did at Highland. They drop not because of a poor race, but because of a good showing by Walker.

10) (+1) Ruston - Finished 2nd at LSU, with a team average of 18:00 for the long 5K - Ruston comes in at 10th this week after finally opening thier XC season.
