Boys:

1.  (+2)    St. Paul's  - St. Paul's moves to #1 spot this week with the 1-2 punch of Zachary Albright and Kramer Jackson at the St. Michael's Bayou Boogie Classic.  The team averaged 16:44 over 3 miles, and dethroned #1 Catholic by 25 pts.  St. Paul's put a very large target on their back this past weekend.  The question will be: Can they continue to keep this spot next week at the Episcopal Roundatable, with the return of missing runners due to ACT testing this past weekend?

2.  (+3)    Episcopal  - Although Episcopal loses to Catholic this week, a closer look reveals 3 missing runners out of their top 7,  including #1 Christian Johnson (ACT's). It is going to be a tightly contested battle at EHS next week for top team honors.

3.  (-1)     Jesuit - The top team on paper, but many of their runners did not run at Loyola this week and are said to be struggling with injuries.

4.  (0)     West Monroe - Said to have a very strong top 4 that can hang with any other team.  Undoubtebly this team will move up the list once they open up.  Until that point, they remain at 4.

5.  (-4)     Catholic  - Catholic loses to St. Paul's at the Bayou Boogie Classic but still has  enough to finish second.  Even though not much is known about the returners on this team, with all the seniors lost last year, CHS somehow always finds a way to finish near the top.  They drop 4 spots this week but hold onto #5.

6.  ( 0)      Brother Martin - Brother Martin finished third at the Mobile Challenge of Champions with an average 5K time of 18:11 amongst a team studded field.  Their #1 runner finished outside BM's top 5 due to dehydration which hurt thier standings, but with his healthy return the team should make a push for a rise in the rankings.

7.  ( 0)      Walker - This weekend they won the very hilly West Feliciana Relays.  Although the time may not have been fast, the course is said to be hilly & winding.  More will be revealed from this team next weekend.

8.  ( 0)      STA - Averaged 17:35 for 3-miles at their home course winning easily over the next two teams

9.  (+1)     Parkway - Yet to open

10 (-1)      STM - Yet to Open

Girls

1.  (+3)    Fontainebleau - With an average time of 22:04 for 5K and a 3rd place finish at Mobile this weeked, the Bulldogs move up to top spot and establish themselves as the team to beat... For now.

2   (  0)    St. Joseph  - St. Joseph wins the Bayou Boogie this weekend with an average 3 mile time of 21:58.  With a 30 second gap between runners 1-4 and a whole minute between 4-5, St. Joseph needs to tighten it up to keep their reputation as the "pack running gurus."

3   ( -2)   Dominican  - At Loyola this past weekend Mia Meydrich dominated the indivual race, but lacked teammates to back her due to ACT testing.  Domincan moves down this week but will certainely be back to make a stake for #1.

4   ( -1)   Mt. Carmel  - Mt. Carmel ran at full strength in Mobile to finish 4th with an avaerage time of 22:26 for 5K.  They move down one spot this week due to the stellar performance of Fontainebleau who leap frogged the LA field.

5   (+2)   Ruston  - Respect to the north.  Said to have a great team this year, but yet to open.

6   ( -1)   Mandeville - Opened at STA this week, 3 out of top 5 not in attendace, but the  top two looked very strong.

7   (+1)   Parkway - Yet to open as a team, but front runner Allison Ringle ran as an indivdual this weekend placing 4th. Her 19:41 for 5K was quite impressive, the second fastest among Louisiana girls.

8   (+3)   East Ascension - This team was overlooked in our preseason picks.  With an average time of 21:30 from last year, they lose only one girl and are expected to make an immediate impact.

9   (+2)   SSA - Solid crew of freshman studs.  Operating under the radar (for now).

10 (  0)   Episcopal
