It's time to reveal this week's ballot for MileSplit LA Girls Performer Of The Week. Congratulations to all of the finalists. The winner will advance to make the poll for MileSplit Girls Outdoor Athlete Of The Year at the end of the season. This poll will close on Saturday at 9pm.
T'avion Clark (Ruston)--Ran a state-leading 55.10 in the 400 meters at the Grizzly Relays.
Serenity Early (Zachary)-- Ran a state-leading time of 14.15 in the girls 100 meter hurdles at the Grizzly Relays. Only Makeriah Harris (13.58) ran faster as a Louisiana sophomore. Early's time is ranked No. 18 in the nation for sophomore girls.
Nyla Stewart(Alexandria)-- The Trojan took over the No. 1 spot in Louisiana in the girls discus with her throw of 148-2 at the Grizzly Relays.
Ciara Gray (Jonesboro Hodge)-- No female in Louisiana history has triple jumped further than Gray did at Monday's Mangham Invitational. Gray had an incredible jump of 41-9.5. The jump puts Gray at No. 10 in the nation.
Isabel Wooley (C.E. Byrd)-- Was one of two C.E. Byrd freshman distance runners to pick up wins at the Caddo Parish Championships. Wooley won the 800 meters with a time of 2:28. Wooley had a personal record of 2:20 on the same track the week before. Wooley ranks No. 3 in Louisiana for freshman girls in the 800 meters.
