VARENKA ZHUK (METAIRIE PARK COUNTRY DAY)--Ran a 5:00 to win the Pete Boudreaux Invitational 1600m. It's the No. 3 freshmen time in Louisiana. Only Northshore's Grace Keene and Parkview Baptist's Molly Cramer ran faster as freshmen.
KATIE GUIDRY (E.D. WHITE)--Ran a PR in the 1600m (5:22) at the Pete Boudreaux Invitational in a runner-up finish. Returned to finish second to Olivia Crews in the 3200m with a time of 12:22.
OLIVIA CREWS (ST. JOSEPH'S)--Crews was one of several SJA Stickers to leave the Pete Boudreaux Invitational with a gold medal. Crews won the 3200m with a 12:15, just two seconds off her personal record set at the Bronco Relays on Thursday.
LAJORDAN BOYKIN (MANSFIELD)--Boykin won both the 100m (12.44) and 200m (25.56) at the Airline Viking Invitational.
LYRIC SPENCER (NORTH DESOTO)--The sophomore was runner to Boykin in both the 100m (12.45) and 200m (25.67) at the Airline Viking Invitational.
RILEY SINER(LAFAYETTE)--Ran a 55.69 to win the Oil City Relays. It's the fastest 400m time in Louisiana this year.
ABIGAIL LEGER (TEURLINGS CATHOLIC)--Ran a 2:15 to win the Oil City Relays 800m. Its the second fastest time in the state this year. Only Dutchtown's Keira Melan (2:13) has run faster.
