It takes a ton of hard work and just a little bit of good fortune to begin season faster in the 800m than the previous season. If it was easy, you would see more names on this list. As it stands, here are the top eight most improved 800m in Louisiana during the 2025 season.
Louisiana's most improved is Belle Chasse's David Lynn,who has improved almost four seconds from last year. Lynn's est time this year is 2:10.55. Right behind Lynn on our list of most improved is Morgan City's Noah Lange and Benton's Brody Hutchison. He has improved three seconds with his time of 2:04. Right behind Lange is Benton's Brody Hutchison, who has improved 2.46. While the entries come out later today, you will probably see all three half milers in Saturday's LSU Last Chance Qualifier as they look to lower their time and solidify their position in the rankings.
