VARENKA ZHUK (18) COMPETES AT THE 2023 AAU NATIONAL JUNIOR OLYMPICS

Here are your finalists for MileSplit LA 14U Performer Of The Week. Congratulations to all of the finalists. The winner of this poll will move on to compete for MileSplit LA 14Performer Of The Year at the end of the summer. This poll will close on Saturday at 9pm.

All performances were achieved this past weekend at the USATF Region 6 Junior Olympics in Jackson, Mississippi. 

RILEN JORDAN (Run Fast Track Club)-- Won the 100m (14.67) and the 200m (30.75) in the 8-and-under boys' division. 

GIA BROWN (Future Track Club)-- Finished second in both the 100m (14.64) and 200m (30.29) to teammate Zoe Rodrigue in the 9-10 girls' division. 

ANDREW WHITE (US Express Track Club)--Had a busy weekend in Jackson, Mississippi as he took home gold medals in the 800m (2:25.51), 1500m (4:41.32), and 3000m (10:20.29) in the 11-12 boys' division. 

VARENKA ZHUK (New Orleans Metro Stars)-- Won both the 800m (2:20.51) and the 1500m (4:55.86) in the 13-14 girls' division. 

LANDON WILLIAMS (River Cities Track Club)--Won the 200m hurdles in the 13-14 boys' division with a 28.56. Also finished second in the 100m hurdles with a 17.13. 

KELLY KIMBROUGH (Road Runners Track) --Won the 9-10 boys long jump with a jump of 13-3.5. Also finished second in the 100m (14.27). 

KARSON FIELDS (Massey Miracle) --Won the 9-10 boys' shot put with a throw of 26-6.25. Also finished fourth in the turbo javelin with a 67-7.
