Coincidentally, it was the meet that he didn't win--the Bearkat Invitational-- where he ran the fastest time and broke the school record as he went sub 2:00 with a time of 1:59.30.

Robert Williams (St. Amant) - Won the D-Town Invitational long jump with a leap of 22-10.5. The jump ranks No. 7 in Louisiana. Williams, who is a junior, is one of three in the top seven who will not be lost to graduation after the season is over.

Aiden Joseph (Plaquemine)- Scored 24 points for Plaquemine at the Ike Reddit Relays. To steal a baseball term, Joseph jumped for the cycle as he won a gold in the triple jump (43-7.5), a silver in the long jump (21-3.5), and a bronze in the high jump (5-8).

Broderick Davis (Scotlandville)- What a week it was for Scotlandville's track star! First, he signs with the University of Tennessee. Then, he finishes third at the Texas Relays in the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.74. It's a huge personal record for Davis, who surpassed his time of 13.96 at the Region 2-5A Meet last year. He also finished third in the long jump with a mark of 23-3.25.

Germain Smith-Mata (Warren Easton)- Made history at the Texas Relays by becoming the first Louisiana sprinter to the win the meet's Division 1 100m title. Smith-Mata was not surprised when he got out to a great start and found himself well out in front. His time of 10.21 is No. 1 in Louisiana an tied at No. 2 in the nation in all conditions.
