Here are the finalists for MileSplit LA Boys' Performer of the Week. This will be the final performer of the week poll of the indoor season. The winner of this poll will advance to next week's MileSplit LA Boys' Indoor Athlete of the Year. Congratulations to all of the athletes who made the ballot. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm.
LA BRANDON COLEMAN (Amite) - Coleman won the D2 boys long jump with a mark of 22-2.5
BENJAMIN RODRIGUE (E.D. White) - Rodrigue won the D2 boys triple jump with a 45-1.25.
RYDER BENTLEY (OCS)- The University of Louisiana-Lafayette football commit won the D2 shot put with heave of 50-10.25. It's an OCS school record and the first time in history an Eagle has won an individual state indoor championship. It's also the first time Bentley has surpassed the 50 foot barrier.
WILL PRICE (Live Oak)- Price won the D1 boys' pole vault with jump of 14-1.25. Price broke his old personal record by over a foot.
DANIEL FALK (Brother Martin) - Falk battled Ruston's Thomas Rogers in the D1 boys' 3200m and fell short of the state championship by .07. It was also a personal record by ten seconds for Falk.
JADEN YOUNGBLOOD (Mansfield) - Finished third in the D2 boys 60m hurdles. Youngblood had a time of 8.29.
SLADE SANFORD (West Ouachita) - Finished third in D1 boys pole vault with a jump of 13-9.25. It's the fourth consecutive personal record for Sanford and the second consecutive podium finish.
