Louisiana high school track and field fans have watched as Scotlandville's Makeriah Harris has taken her official visits. And while seeing the smile on her face during those official visits may have led to some concerns, everyone can take a deep breath after Harris' decision to continue her career at LSU.
The Best hurdler in Louisiana track and field history is staying on the Bayou.
"Ever since I was a kid it was always my plan," Harris told MileSplit LA's Mandi Monistere. "It was me speaking it into existence, so I just had to go with that. I feel like I'm going home."
In leading up to making her decision on Friday, Harris had announced her top three--LSU, Kentucky, and Tennesse.
