Here are the finalists for MileSplit LA Girls' XC Athlete of the Month. These runners made the ballot by winning a MileSplit LA Girls' XC Performer of the Week poll during the month of October. LUCY CRAMER (PARKVIEW BAPTIST) - Won the first poll of the year by bringing in 41% of the vote. Cramer ran the fastest 5K time in Louisiana (18:18) at the Southern Showcase. Nationally, her time ranks No.33 among all runners in the Class of 2027.

CLAIRE ALLEN (BENTON) - Allen made the ballot after successfully defending her title at Parkway's Border Dash (19:51). She dropped to 19:12 in her last three-mile race at the Wallace Martin Invitational. Here time ranks No. 34 in Louisiana and No. 8 in the state's Class of 2026. Allen had 44% of the vote in the Week No.2 MileSplit LA Girls' XC Performer of the Week poll. 

EMMA BIELKIEWICZ (WEST OUACHITA) - Emma won the Week No. 3 MileSplit LA Girls' XC Performer of the Week poll with 52% of the vote. Bieliewicz started her sophomore season with back-to-back runner-up finishes at the Aggie Invitational (20:10), which was a three-mile race, and the Warhawk Invitational (19:56), which was a 5K. She also finished second her last time out the C.E. Byrd XC Fall Invitational (19:19). Her personal record (19:13) came in a sixth place finish at the Wallace Martin Invitational at Ruston's Lincoln Parish Park. 

NATALIE VENKATARAMAN (BATON ROUGE)- Venkataraman won last week's MileSplit LA Girls' XC Performer of the Week Poll by getting 47% of the vote. She made the ballot after her win at Brusly's Cinclaire Run on the Levee. She won with a time of 19:38. Venkataraman's fastest three-miles time (19:11) came at Episcopal's Round Table Run where she finished 11th.
