The boys in the Class of 2026 made quite the splash a year ago. This year, they prepare to continue to take the next step as sophomores. Today, we take a look at the runners at the head of the Class of 2026.

TYLER BLISSETT (
HIGHLAND BAPTIST)- It's hard to imagine a scenario for his freshman year working out any better than it did for Blissett. He won his first state championship by capturing the LHSAA D5 cross country title in November. In May, Blissett added a couple of more state championships to his resume by taking the LHSAA Class 1A 1600m and 3200m. Sandwiched between those championship meets, Blissett also won a state indoor title--the D2 3200m.
If that's not enough to impress you, what about four national-caliber races in two different cities over the course of a weekend? And oh, by the way, top ten finishes in each race. His highest finish came at the Nike Indoor Championships where he finished as the runner...
