Here are the finalists for MileSplit LA Boys' 14&U Performer of the Week. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm. The winner of this poll will join  Michael Mckenzie , Joseph Rivet, Rudyard West Jr., Collis Temple IV, and Langston Love on the MileSplit LA 14&U Boys' Athlete of the Year ballot, which will be out in a few weeks.

MASON KAUTZ (FLIGHT 337) - Finished third in the 1500 race walk with a time of 11:23.68.

DEANDRE CARTER (SBR JAGS) - Won a national championship in the 11-year-old boys' shot put with a throw of 31-4. 

ASHTON JOSEPH (FLIGHT 337) - Joseph won a national championship in the 13-year-old boys' long jump with an effort of 18-3.75. 

KYRON BUSSEY (SACS) - Bussey finished second in the 100m in the 10-year-old boys' division. Bussey's time was 13.07. Bussey also finished second in the 200m with a 26.93. 

TAIRON PONDS (Trojan Elite) - Ponds continued his battle with West Monroe's R.J. West Jr.. Ponds finished second in the 100m with a time of 12.21. West's winning time was 12.01.

ALBERT EDWARDS III (NO METRO STARS) - AE3 had a busy trip to Orlando. Edwards won a national championship in the 9-year-boys' long jump with a leap of 14-8.75. Edwards also finished second in the boys' 9-year old 800m (2:34.57), third in 400m (1:04.30). 

FAYDEN BROWN (RUN FAST) - There were other athletes from Louisiana to win a national championship at the AAU Club Championships. Brown was the only athlete to win TWO national title. In fact, Brown went swept the hurdle events for the second consecutive year. Brown won the 100m hurldes with a 13.60. He also won the 200m hurdles with a  25.78. Brown also turned in an impressive performance in the 100m where he finished second with a time of 11.45. 

JAXON TALLEY (ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE) - While there were other athletes from Louisiana to win national championships in Orlando, none dominated their event the way West Monroe HS incoming freshman Jaxon Talley dominated the 14-year-old javelin. Talley won with a throw of 166-0, almost 30 feet better than his closest competitor. Talley also finished third in the shot put with a throw of 46-0.5.
