Here are the finalists for MileSplit LA Girls' 14&U Performer of the Week! Congratulations to the finalists. The winner will move on to compete for the MileSplit LA Girls' 14&U Athlete of the Year. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm. All performances were at the USATF Southern Association Junior Olympics in Natchez, MS.
KENDALYN DUNCAN (RIVER CITIES)- Won the 13-14 200m (26.04) and finished second in the 100m (12.78).
ZAMAYA SHEPHERD (NO METRO STARS)-Won the 8&U girls 400m (1:18.28) and also won the turbo javelin (52-2).
EDEN TEMPLE (FUTURE TRACK CLUB)- Won the 9-10 girls' 800m (2:42.65).
KYLA HOWARD (FAITH TRACK CLUB)- Won the 8&U girls' shot put with a throw of 19-9. Also finished second in the turbo javelin with a throw of 42-8.5.
JADA RECASNER (NO METRO STARS)-Won the 200h (31.49), shot put (33-6), and javelin (73-0.75) in the 13-14 age group.
MORGAN MARTINEZ (US EXPRESS)- Won the high jump in the 11-12 age group with a clearance of 1.19 meters. Martinez also won the aero javelin with a throw of 18.72 meters.
TYLER ADDISON (ZACHARY STRIDERS)-Won the 13-14 girls' triple jump with an effort of 9.13 meters.
