ST. LOUIS' ELLA SEGURA COMPETES IN THE 1600m THE REGION 2-3A MEET

Here are the finalists for MileSplit LA Girls' Performer of the Week. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm. The winner of the poll will make the ballot for MileSplit LA Athlete of the Month. Congratulations to all of the finalists for making the ballot.

ELLA SEGURA (ST. LOUIS) - Won the 1600m (5:30.89) and 3200m (12:22.74) at the Region 2-3A Meet. 

ANGELLE DUPUIS (TEURLINGS CATHOLIC)- Won the 800m (2:19.64) and 1600m (5:26.61) at the Region 2-4A Meet.

TRISTEN HARRIS (WEST FELICIANA)- Won the 100m (12.02), 200m (24.40), long jump (18-8.75) at the Region 2-4A Meet

JAYDAN JACKSON (ZACHARY) - Won the shot put with a throw of 44-0 and finished second in the discus with a 134-11 at the Region 2-5A Meet. 

ELISE BROWN (ST. JOSEPH'S) - Won the 1600m (5:12) and 3200m (11:15) at the Region 2-5A Meet.

ANIYAH JACKSON (HUNTINGTON)- Won the 400m (1:00) at the Region 1-4A Meet.

LINA MILLS-ZACAPA (LEESVILLE) - Won all three distance events at the Region 1-4A Meet. Mills-Zacapa's times were 800m 2:24.13, 1600m 5:24.16, and 3200m 12:17.26. 

IZAYLA HARRIS (DOYLINE)- Ran the fastest time in the state with her 11.66 at the regional meet.,
