Congratulations to these young men for making this week's ballot. The winner will move on to compete for the MileSplit LA Athlete of the Month. This poll will close at 9pm on Saturday, March 18th. 

KADEN BLALOCK (SULPHUR) - Blalock won both the 100m (10.97) and 200m (22.69) at the Farmers Merchant Bank Barbe Buc Relays.

JUSTIN HORNE (JOHN CURTIS) - The future Texas Tech Red Raider continues to impress in his last season at John Curtis. Horne ran a 13.64 in the 110m hurdles at the Kenner Discovery Invitational. The time is currently ranked No. 4 in the nation. 

CAMERON JEFFERSON (AIRLINE) - Jefferson helped to lead his team to a victory in their home meet with his performance in the sprints. Jefferson, who has signed to continue is football career at the University of Arkansas Monticello, won the 100m with a 10.78. He also finished second to teammate Jeremiah Boudreaux in the 200m--an unofficial 21.90. 

TRIPP  ROEMER (LOYOLA) - Roemer remains undefeated after two weeks of the La. HS outdoor season. Last week, he won the 3200m at the Yellow Jacket Relays. This week, he won three different races at two different meets. On Thursday, he won the 800m at the Viking Relays with a time of 2:01.11. On Friday, Roemer won both the 1600m (4:32.56) and 3200m (9:45.46) at the Woodlawn Knights Relays. In both races, Roemer faced stiff competition from Captain Shreve senior Evan Johnson.

KYZER DUNBAR (ST. AUGUSTINE) - The Purple Knight sophomore won the 800m (2:03.78) and 400m (50.15) at the Henry Crosby Classic.

JAIDEN LINDSEY (ALEXANDRIA) - The sophomore Trojan showed out at ASH's home meet by winning both the 100m (11.28) and 200m (22.86).

KADRMAS MAXIMUS (TIOGA) - The second Tioga athlete to make the MileSplit LA Performer of the Week poll in as many weeks. Maximus, a junior, won both the 110m hurdles (16.05) and 300m hurdles (40.78). 

ALEX GOMEZ (PARKWAY) - Gomez had an eight second PR at the Simsboro Tiger Invitational to win the 1600m with a 4:44! He becomes the seventh Parkway runner this year to run sub 4:50. Must be something in the water in South Bossier.
