POLL: Vote on MileSplit LA Boys' Performer of the Week!


DEVON OLIVER (PARKWAY) - The best freshman discus thrower started his sophomore campaign with personal records in both the shot put (50-11) and discus (151-9) at the Benton Tiger Relays. Oliver won the shot put and finished second to North DeSoto's Dominic Smith (154-4). Two days later, Oliver avenged his loss to Smith at the Yellow Jacket Relays. He won the discus with a 145-4. 

CHAUNKY LEWIS (OUACHITA) -Won the 110 hurdles (14.71) and 200m (22.58) at the D&H Relays at ULM.

HAYDEN CHRISTMAN (TIOGA)- Won the shot put (48-10) and discus (154-7) at the D&H Relays in Monroe. He also finished third in the javelin (153-8). 

JEREMIAH BOUDREAUX (AIRLINE) Boudreaux won the 300 hurdles with a time of 39.88, breaking the meet record of 40.04 at the Yellow Jacket Relays set by Shreve's Tarieek Anderson in 2015. Boudreaux also ran the anchor leg on Airline's winning 4x200 team. Boudreaux's 6-6 in the high jump was second place on fewer misses. 

GABRIEL CLEMENT II (KAPLAN) --Clement II won the 100 (10.85), 200 (21.96), and 400 (48.75) at the Charles Lancon Invite.

TALAN SIEVERS (LAFAYETTE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY) - The eighth grader ran a 4:50 in the 1600m and a 10:39 3200m at the Charles Lancon Invite. 

OWEN TAUZIN (E.D. WHITE) - Won the 1600m (4:37.67) and 3200m 10:07.91) at the E.D. White Relays. 

TYLER HAYES (JOHN CURTIS) - Won the long jump (21-0)and the triple jump (43-8.75) at the Patrick L. Ruth Memorial Relays. Also finished second in the high jump (6-0).
