In this week's Coaches Conversation, we talk to Zachary's head cross country and assistant track coach Julie Fink. We started off talking about her career and then transitioned to the discussion of the state of female track and field coaches in Louisiana.
From there the conversation changed to Rhen Langley, who won Track MVP honors at the season opener LSU High School Classic. Fink referred to Langley Langley as the "good wolf" in a recent Facebook post and we discussed what makes the LSU signee so special.
Finally, we touched on the Louisiana Track and Field Coaches Association Clinic, which begins today in Lafayette. Fink is a past president of the organization and remains on the board.
At the very end, we talk about the Bronco Distance & Throws Classic scheduled for Saturday, April 8th.
