FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Two members of the Tulane University women's track and field team competed Friday at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships held at John McDonnell Outdoor Track in Fayetteville, Ark., on the campus of the University of Arkansas.

Senior Shanon Beelendorf finished 18th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.59, while sophomore Valencia Wilson placed 23rd in a competitive 400-meter dash event.

On Saturday, Sophomore Nicolette Taku will compete in the triple jump, beginning at 4 p.m., and the 4x400-meter relay team will compete beginning at 8:05 p.m.
