21st ANNUAL TOM SAWYER MISSISSIPPI RIVER RUN TO BE HELD OCTOBER 10th
The 21st Annual Tom Sawyer Mississippi River Run Presented by Reginelli's Pizzeria will be held on Friday October 10th 2014 in the New Orleans Central Business District. The race returns for its 21st year having raised over $100,000 for local charities over its first 20 editions, and hopes to continue to build on this success.
The run will start at 6:30pm from Generations Hall at 310 Andrew Higgins Drive. Race registration, as well as the awards ceremony and after party will also be at Generations Hall. The course will be the now traditional route on Convention Center Boulevard and Poydras Street.
The Tom Sawyer Mississippi River Run attracts one of the most competitive race fields in New Orleans, offering cash awards for top finishers. Age group award winners will take home the coveted cast iron awards.
This year’s after party will feature food from title sponsor Reginelli's Pizza, as well as from Blue Runner Food, and live band will be announced closer to the event.
